How do we start off a new year around here? Well, first, we just barely stay awake to watch the ball drop on tv-

We sleep in- (good morning, Max!)
And then, we go to Gran’s house for some New Year’s Good Luck Food (black-eyed peas, cooked cabbage, whole cakes, YUM!). I think they kids were just there for the play dough.
Yep, that’s pretty much it. An easy day- together. {blessed}
