The kids’ Christmas program at church…

(Please turn off the blog music on the right sidebar of the blog before playing videos.)

I had the pleasure of working with the children at church (13th Street COG) on a Christmas program. Reagan was an angel and sang The First Noel. Emmy wanted to be Mary, but since that role was already assigned, she said she’d be Mary’s sister. haha

I love these kids so much and was so blessed by their efforts. The entire congregation was touched by their drama to “How Great is Our God”. My brother played and sang the song.

It just brings tears to my eyes every time I watch the video. I love to see my kids worshiping God even as babies. Enjoy!

The girls used their birthday money at “Builda Bayer Werrkshop”.  Reagan got a colorful bear and named it Tye Die and Emmy got a Hello Kitty and named it Gingerbread Hello Kitty. ha!

Stocked up on wrapping paper, ready to spend a night wrapping gifts with the girls!  They really enjoyed helping.

One last trip for 2012 to Dollywood was in order.  It was the most crowded there that I have ever witnessed.  We only had a few hours to enjoy there before our dinner show at The Dixie Stampede.  The kids LOVED the DS show.

IMG_1882

Reagan thought this nutcracker was pretty neat since she had just learned about nutcrackers in her art class a couple days before.

Max does this thing on my bed (usually at bedtime) where he acts like a ninja.  We jokingly call him Ninja Max.

He had some marshmallow creme on his face.  I thought this was a cute clip of him trying to get it off.  He could see himself while I was videoing.

Christmas Time’s a Comin’

Pictures from 12/3/12 – 12/9/12.

Since we were still recovering from the flu, we were pretty much stuck at home this entire week.

Here’s the elves playing with photobooth on my imac!

Emmy- “Mom, does this look like too much make up?”

We put the small tree that I used for my Christmas mini sessions on the front porch for decoration.  The kids enjoyed trimming the tree while singing Jingle Bells.IMG_8756

As soon as we got to Gran & Papaw’s house for dinner, Reagan had to grab her sign and hang it up!

Here we were getting ready to leave the house!  We just HAD to get out.  We drove around town to look at Christmas lights while enjoying a Charley’s Pizza and salad in the car!  (A pretty perfect combination!)

Our Hello Kitty cookie house was pretty much a fail, but they had a great time, anyways.

Week 17, Emmy’s 4th Birthday

These pictures are from 11/26/12 to 12/2/12 .

With my work, Thanksgiving, Christmas, the girls’ birthdays, two weeks of the FLU in our house, and everything else we had going on, you can imagine the chaos that was taking place around this time.  I decided to slow our home school activities (start our Christmas break early) so we could not go completely crazy.

We transformed our “fall tree” to a “Christmas tree”!

This day, Daddy was in charge of the elves’ antics.  I’m not sure it was a success.

Rea and I shared a hot chocolate from the concession stand while she was on her break at Thursday Connection.

Of course, Emmy wanted a Hello Kitty birthday party!

Here’s some shots that I took of her to get a picture for her invitation. (wearing Polkadaisies!)

On Emmy’s birthday, the elves had decorated accordingly!  Unfortunately, I came down with the flu just in time for her birthday.  I was the sickest that I can remember being in a very long time.  I wanted to just re-schedule the party, but who could rain on Emmy’s Hello Kitty parade!?!  Not me.  I pulled myself together the best I could and made it happen!  That’s a mom for ya!

I just thought that Sponge Bob balloon at Food City was expensive.  This one, however, was worth every penny.

Here’s a video of Max trying to get the star off the top of our Christmas tree.  He would get a running start and stop and jump as high as he could like was actually going to reach the star.  He said, “OH MAN!” like was disappointed he didn’t reach it.  I got him to do it again for video, thankfully.  It was pretty funny to watch.  He would say, “Get dat star back!”  Reagan just watched him and cackled!  She then followed to say that our family is so funny that people would probably like to watch us on tv.

Here’s a clip from Emmy’s 4th Birthday Party!
