Well, I kicked off the month of February with a horrible, horrible virus. I was so sick. Yuck. I had no one to help me with the kids on one of the days I felt so bad. I literally stayed in bed the entire day. They helped take care of each other and me, too. It was really very sweet and impressive at the same time. Here they are “toasting” popsicles.

Emmy painted Max’s nails. He wasn’t too happy with the job, but hey, it kept him occupied.
Another snow day-
This weekly visit to the animal shelter wasn’t our normal visit…
because we met this little guy! I knew when I saw him that we had to rescue him.
I mean, look at that sweet face! We speculated he was part weimaraner and either pit bull OR boxer. Not sure, but either way- he was so sweet. I asked the shelter to hold him for me while I made arrangements to get him to our home!
Play dough creations-
By Rea, for me-
I get this text while working at the studio. SOOO funny.
Em “picking out her hairstyle” before she gets her routine trim. ha!
The “Animals in Winter” stories that we read-
Our new puppy leaving the shelter with me!!
We did not have a name for him right off. The girls came up with some doozies. We went over a day without a name, but finally settled on “Tucker”. We were able to re-home our last rescue pup “Maggie” to a good home during this process so it all worked out wonderfully.
